ENVO ST Dual Sport

It's only been 3 weeks since I've had the Envo St and when someone asks me if I like it ?....Well I've done 300km in 10 days. I love this bike , the motor and battery are awesome, get so much range on pedal assist 1.
I was originally planning to get the Aventon Pace but I am so glad I got this instead, the seat and front suspension make such a big difference. I've ridden this on gravel, pavement, trails and parks. The throttle is responsive, the gears shift well and the seat is comfortable.
Will give a more comprehensive review after a few months , for now I'm thrilled with my purchase.

When I decided to buy an e-bike this winter, I knew practically nothing about the genre. I attended the Montreal Cycle Show and spoke to several vendors and picked up some flyers. ENVO was represented by a local dealer. Once I got home, I spent many hours online researching the different options and finally decided to buy an ENVO ST from the dealer (his price + set up turned out to be exactly the same as having it shipped to me direct - without worrying that I might not set it up correctly, and includes a free tune-up). So, I've had the bike about 2 weeks and have been out and about several times. I am hooked! Absolutely no issues changing gears, the throttle is a dream when starting off from a standing start. I'm shocked at how smooth the ride is - and how fast! Going downhill and not peddling, my friends are far behind me! For the people who commented on the throttle not carrying them up hills adequately - the tech at my bike shop told me that if I relied entirely on the throttle when going up a substantial grade, I'd been disappointed. I just peddle at the same time as I hold the throttle - no problem. Not as quick as on the flat, but hey, the bike has to defeat gravity with me as added ballast. As for the carrier on the back - I asked my tech to remove the spring-loaded section. It definitely interfered with the installation of the paniers I bought on Amazon, and I frankly don't need that part. Problem solved. I still can't remember how to turn on the headlight, even though I messaged Envo and got an immediate reply. My crappy memory, I'm not a young chicken anymore. My one complaint is the booklet that comes with the bike about its features. It's a little light on explanations regarding the LCD display. I don't understand how the trip odometer works.

I had decided on an e-bike once I sold 2 motorcycles, to get me from home to the Bowling Club, which is 9.5 km away. This would help me get some fitness back and save on gas.
I went to the local shop, went for a ride on an ST and I was hooked. I went for the 15" in white, as I am only 5'8" and have short legs. I hadn't been on a bike for years and the first night I went for a 23 km ride, which was easy and got it up to 44 kph easily. I like the ride height and with a white helmet am easily seen. I have been riding it to the Club at level 1 to the Club and level 2 for the return as it is a little uphill and I am tired after working on the green. I don't think though that I will get anywhere near 100 km per battery charge which I am disappointed with and am wondering if I made the right choice now. Any comments ?

Received my 15" ENVO ST ebike last week and I'm delighted with it. Such a smooth ride and I love all the features. Makan Namazi, thank you! You sure helped me with my decision to pick the right bike for me. I'm now the fourth member of my family to get an ENVO bike. Pretty excited about it

Dianne and I are loving our Canadian ENVO Bikes! We are riding every day. Dianne got an ENVO ST and mine is an ENVO D35. They ride like a dream and around Greensville\Dundas ON there are a lot of trails that we are just discovering. I only have 1 small complaint.... I love Dianne's brake light on her ST...I would have loved mine to light up but, its not a perfect world... LOL...Happy Canada Day and Happy Cycling!
